We are part of the Humanities Student Leaders group. Last week, we did a presentation to a Year 8 geography class on Coasts as that is what they are learning in geography at the moment. After the presentation, we gave them a range of activities to complete including a word search and a question sheet. We had more activities that we were going to give them such as an anagram worksheet but unfortunately, we ran out of time.
We really enjoyed teaching their class as they were very respectful while we were presenting and we also liked helping them with the activities. In addition to this, by the end of the lesson we rewarded everyone by giving them reward points. This really gave us a nice teacher experience. If given the opportunity, we would definitely do it again!
In the future, we would love to do more presentations on a variety of different topics such as RE, History and possibly even another geography!
