Demonstrating a Real Mind to Be Kind

It is always lovely to receive letters from members of the public informing me of the excellent behaviour of our students outside of school in the local community.

On Thursday of this week I received a letter praising two of our Year 7 students – Milla and Ella, who offered a lady with a pushchair a seat at the bus stop, chatted to her about Bushey Meads School and made sure she had seat on the bus.
Both girls have been awarded a R5 High Achiever Award (worth 15 achievement points) for being superb ambassadors for the school and having a real ‘Mind to Be Kind’.
A quote from the letter reads:
“These two young ladies have represented your school extremely well with good manners and politeness. I would be grateful if you could pass on my thanks to these two wonderful young ladies. It was a pleasure to witness two shining stars of this world’s future generation.”
