It was inspiring to see over 400 students and staff listening so intently to Advanced Skills Leader and top teacher Ms Knowles lead the Main School Assembly this week for Year 7 and 8 students on Wednesday morning of this week. Under the important theme of the week of Progress she gave the students so many real nuggets to take away. Get out of your comfort zone…..don’t forget to use your powerful purple pen of progress…….remember mistakes help us make progress (as long as we learn from them!)……..sometimes it feels like two steps forward and one step backwards but progress is still being made………..learn from inspiring students around you……….work hard to get rid of your icebergs………………….were just a few of the brilliant carefully shaped thoughts she presented to make for a really focussed and positive start to the day.
