Date : Tuesday 23rd May
On Tuesday 23rd May the BMS Junior and Senior athletics teams were competing in the fourth County League Athletics match of the season. This match saw the teams competing with Parmiters, Longdean, Ashlyns and Futures Academy schools. A number of the students performed really well with 9 event winners and special mention to the Junior Boys who finished an excellent 2nd overall with 54 points. Winners were C Keough Y10 High Jump, E Henry Y8 100m and Shot, K Gibson Y8 Triple Jump, N Walters Y8 300m, S Ward 1st Discus, P Tapre Y10 800m, L Fearnside Y9 Pole Vault and the Y8 Boys Relay team who all won their respective events. Well done to all those who took part as we look forward to the remaining 2 matches.
