This year has proven tricky but in Textiles the students have certainly risen to the challenge!
I am so incredibly proud of the students this year so have worked their socks off to produce some fantastic work. Despite the challenges, students were working away and their final coursework projects were some of the most creative I have ever seen!

With the assessments now completed, students were given the opportunity to make their own little makeup/toiletries bag, as a little souvenir and reminder of their time here. The girls picked out their fabrics, using the knowledge they now have of what would be suitable or not and with their great sewing skills, they were able to whip up a little bag in now time at all!
I’m very much going to miss this wonderful class and all of their creativity, and their spirit, but I wish them all the very best for their next chapter!
