Our curriculum provides students with a breadth of opportunities and pathways to success. This week I had the pleasure of seeing a PE and Health lesson. With wellbeing at the foremost of many people’s thinking following recent months it was excellent to see all students positively participating and working with others during the lesson.
Our PE and Health curriculum is aimed at enabling all students to have a positive physical experience. Alongside this I was impressed by the technical terms that our students knew and were able to incorporate into their practical lesson. Not only breaking down stereotypes around gymnastics but also maximising the attainment and fosturing the potential of individual students within the class. With a range of pathways being offered across our PE and Health faculty these students can look forward to both vocational and academic options as well as the chance to develop Sports Leadership awards as they progress throughout the school.
