The summer term brings a change in activities in the PE Faculty with the summer sports of athletics, cricket, rounders, tennis and softball taking place. Clubs will continue at lunchtimes and after school with lots of competitive sports events taking place this term. A reminder to all students and staff that information on sports clubs/fixtures and events can all be found in the following areas :

ATHLETICS
County League Athletics – Match 1
Date : Thursday 5th May
On Thursday 5th May the BMS Junior and Senior athletics teams were competing in the first County League Athletics match of the season. The League consists of 6 fixtures against the other 25 schools in our region of the Herts County League. The first match saw the teams competing with Habs Boys and Girls, Grange Academy, St Georges and Rickmansworth schools. It was a tough first match but the students acquitted themselves well with some very positive individual performances.. Special mention to C Noonan in Year 8 who managed to win the Junior Girls Shot Put. Well done to all those who took part as we look forward to the remaining 5 matches.
