On Tuesday evening the Christmas Soirée was a real treat for the audience in the Main Hall at 7.00 pm and the excellent eclectic range of musical performances certainly put us in a great mood for the upcoming festive period.
Solo piano performances, the rousing Jazz Band, a lovely Year 7 Choir, some stunning vocal soloists, a Sixth Form vocal ensemble and a beautiful oboe solo were among just a few of the highlights of the evening.
A huge congratulations to Head of Music and Advanced Lead Teacher Mr Gray, the brilliant Sixth Form comperes, all the backstage crew and of course all the amazing performers.
It was so nice to be there at a live concert – something we have all missed for so long. Happy Christmas everyone!
