Black History Month

TOTW is Black History Month. It is a chance for all at Bushey Meads to celebrate and recognise all of the diversity and progress of black individuals and black contributions to British society, British History and the world. This week in assemblies we were able to discuss the theme of ‘Reclaiming narratives’ to ensure that History has been told correctly and shining a light on the narratives of black heritage. Please take a look at the Theme of the week to create more of a discussion about our Themes celebrated at Bushey Meads school.
