It has been a real privilege to attend all the House assemblies in the past two weeks on the theme of Be Prepared. The Heads of each House discussed the variety of ways in which students could prepare for school and also looked at the example set by the late Queen Elizabeth II and how she prepared for her role as monarch.
The highlight for me was in Sycamore House assembly, led by the Head of Sycamore house, Mr Sylvester. Mr Sylvester was encouraging Sycamore students to be prepared for school, be motivated for lessons and earn reward points. He then played a video clip with a personalised message to Sycamore House from Olympic athlete Sir Mo Farah.
A wonderful motivation to Sycamore students to be prepared!
