It was lovely to receive this email message from Sam Rutter (mother of BMS students Matthew, Ben and Chloe) this week thanking everyone associated with Bushey Meads for supporting her amazing fundraising initiative to provide for the hard working and amazing staff at Watford General Hospital during these difficult and challenging times.
I just wanted to take the time to say thank you so much for the amazing support both you and your staff team gave to our fundraising project. We raised £3500 (after just giving fees) and have been told by staff at the hospital, it’s helped them to see that they are appreciated and supported by the community. We’ve put smiles on lots of their faces and the team members on the Starfish children’s ward had tears in their eyes at everyone’s kindness.
Please thank all the parents, carers and staff at Bushey Meads on our behalf for helping to make a difference to front line staff at Watford hospital. From my family and also Rosalyn Graham, my fundraising partner.
Many thanks
Sam Rutter
