Our Year 10 students were absolutely fantastic during last week’s Enrichment Day, which focused on careers and preparing for the world of work. From start to finish, they showed real maturity, enthusiasm, and curiosity about their futures.
Throughout the day, students had the opportunity to hear from a range of external visitors, who shared their own career journeys and gave valuable advice on how to take those important first steps into the working world. The level of engagement, thoughtful questions, and genuine interest shown by our Year 10s was brilliant to see.
Students also took part in mock interviews, giving them the chance to experience what a real job interview might feel like and they rose to the challenge beautifully! The visitors were extremely impressed with their professionalism, confidence, and communication skills.
A special shoutout goes to Lucas DC, whose outstanding presentation caught the attention of our external guests. They were quick to comment on how articulate, confident, and inspiring he was, well done Lucas!
They represented the school with pride and showed that they’re already taking their next steps towards a bright and successful future.
