Parents and carers often ask what their child will be taught over the course of a year or indeed throughout their time at school. It is an important question in allowing the school, families and the student to work together and support students to aspire to achieve. We have a broad curriculum at Bushey Meads School that is personalised to meet the needs of all learners and to maximise the opportunities that our students have for success.
Students are given a wide choice of subjects to excite and motivate them, to stretch every learner and to ensure they enjoy their learning experience. To enable families and students to understand their learning journey every subject has created a learning journey. The learning journey provides an outline of what students study in each year of every subject.
Thereby, informing them not only of the examination and syllabus demands but also inspiring students to become lifelong learners. Please do take the time to visit this page on our website and to gain an oversight of what your child is learning.
