Year 9 Reading Project with Little Reddings

It has been so exciting to watch our Year 9 students leading a project at Little Reddings to help Year 2 students to read. This is a fabulous example of our Multi Academy Trust collaboration that I would like to keep growing.

I am so proud of the Year 9 AQA group and how they have led this project with such maturity and enthusiasm. The Year 2 pupils have been so excited for the Year 9s to arrive on a Thursday morning. The Little Reddings staff have been so impressed with the Bushey Meads students and how they have conducted themselves. After the Year 2s have completed their reading, they have an opportunity to have a play session with their Year 9 reading buddy. Please see the lovely photos attached. Thank you to Rebecca Tregear (Headteacher, LRS) and Claire Morton (Year 2 Class teacher) for helping to facilitate these visits.
