In our Design Technology Class we have taken the schools mantra “we have a mind to be kind”, and designed and created a money box for someone else or a charity collection box, complete with flashing lights.
This is Parth 8E working on making the box using a chisel very safely proving that a disability is no barrier to success and earning a R2 for his determination. This was a few weeks ago he has now put his box together and painted it.
These are the first few to completely finish, having added the lights as well, earning R3s for their hard work.
Derry even used the laser cutter to cut out some extra parts to add some embellishments to his Royal British Legion box.
Noah, Derry and Kushaan are now our class experts and are busy helping others in the class to finish their boxes!
