Sharing best practise is at the core of professional development at Bushey Meads. Last week during the ‘Monday Magic Moment’, Ms Hargreaves showcased an engaging resource called Quizlet. An online resource that can be used by all subjects to engage students, assist with revision and memory recall – a particular focus of our Teaching and Learning Reading Group.Ms Hargreaves demonstrated the use of the app by recruiting some very willing and competitive staff members who competed in groups to answer the questions first! The levels of engagement were evident by the focus of the players. The versatility of the resource was also highlighted, as any subject can create games, flash cards and more! It was excellent to see staff using innovative ways to enhance learning for our students!
