Trying Out Tapping Techniques
EFT tapping, or Emotional Freedom Technique, is a self-help technique that involves tapping specific points on the body while focusing on emotional issues or stress. It’s a complementary therapy that draws on acupressure and psychotherapy principles to manage stress, anxiety, and other emotional challenges.
Last week our dedicated Intervention Manager Mrs Mateides provided an excellent practical workshop for all Year 11 students in their Going 4 Greatness lessons and is pictured here on Friday in the Learning Resource Centre with two G4G classes who have been working so hard all year in preparation for their upcoming GCSE examinations.
The workshops led by Mrs Mateides are just one of many and varied strategies the school employs to support all our Year 11 students to maximise their potential in their examinations. We continue to wish them well as the busy time in the GCSE calendar begins.
