Successful Start to Bridging Fortnight

We have now had a week of our superb ‘Bridging Fortnight’ for Year 11 into Year 12 students. This programme has been organised to support all Year 11 students transition effectively into studies beyond Key Stage 4, whether or not they are intending to stay at Bushey Meads School.

All students have looked amazing in their smart business dress, have really enjoyed the challenges and exciting experiences of being Sixth Formers at BMS and have participated really well in all lessons. I would like to thank Acting Head of Sixth Form Mr Monks for organising the whole event, ably supported by Deputy Head of Sixth Form Mrs Timotheou.

This term they have been outstanding leaders in our school and, in establishing and running such an important fortnight, have really gone the extra mile for our Year 11s as well as the good number of new to school students who have joined us for the two weeks.
