Superb Students Studying Successfully
On the last day of the previous half term there were a number of staff absent with illness and a few more leading the end of half term Year 7 trip to Whipsnade Zoo, so our Learning Hub kicked into action and five different classes came down to get access to the Chromebooks and complete some independent study, as well as work left by their teachers.
You can see from the photos how many students were present and, without exception, they were all brilliantly behaved and used the full hour of time to complete the tasks set. Others were revising hard using one of the many online learning platforms provided at Bushey Meads School with many of them preparing for their PPEs or Pre Public Exams that they are now completing.
Bearing in mind that this was the last lesson at the end of the half term, it was incredibly impressive to see – a sea of hard working Bushey Meads School students completing their work independently with some of them working in small groups to support each other’s learning and progress.
If your son or daughter was in that lesson you should be very proud of their superb attitude to learning and should congratulate them for their mature approach and excellent behaviour.
