Our STEM Computing Club always continues to grow in population and enthusiasm and last week’s session, led by myself along with the other STEM leaders, was no exception.
As the Senior STEM leader in the computing department at Bushey Meads, I ran a hands-on workshop focused on the Sphero-Bolt robots, guiding students through the exciting world of robotics, programming and the real-world applications that it opens up.
The session was a great success, with students quickly learning how to control the Sphero-Bolts, exploring the possibilities of these robots and even starting planning potential mini-events using their new skills.
The session took place in the F4 classroom, with many regular club attendees returning and new faces from different year groups joining the fun.
