Spotlight on Safeguarding
At Bushey Meads School safeguarding the children in our care remains one of our top priorities. All staff work together with our highly trained designated Safeguarding Leads across the Pastoral and Leadership Teams and work alongside Hertfordshire Children’s Services and other relevant agencies, including the Police, to ensure our students are safe from harm both inside and outside of school.
Last Friday Safeguarding Officer Miss Court and Deputy Headteacher Ms de Groot led a short but powerful presentation for all staff outlining some of the main presenting safeguarding risks in the local area and how we can help to support those involved and those tackling and minimising these risks.
It was a good reminder about how we can work together to ensure that all children are kept safe.
