Although the annual 3 day summer fun course had to be cancelled we were still able to run a 1 day event at the end of August. The event is designed to provide a fun and welcoming introduction to Bushey Meads for our new Year 7 intake and over 80 students took the opportunity to attend. The students took part in a range of on site activities including cooking, multisports, trampolining, table tennis, frisbee and tennis as well as a group picture challenge. It was a great day and the staff were really impressed by the attitude and approach of all the students. It’s always great to see students making new friends and becoming more confident about starting at secondary school. Massive thank you to all the PE and support staff who helped out and also the 14 Year 11 Sports leaders who were a great help throughout the day.
