This week, the warm and fragrant smell of freshly baked focaccia filled the air as Mrs Hanbury’s kitchen transformed into a little slice of Italy for Culture Day. Students from Years 7 to 10 came together to create beautiful and delicious garden focaccia – a creative twist on the classic Italian bread.
Using herbs, vegetables, and a whole lot of teamwork, our students decorated their breads with colourful designs that looked almost too good to eat! It was fantastic to see students of all ages collaborating, learning about Italian culinary traditions, and taking pride in their tasty creations.
The results? A kitchen full of smiles, floury aprons, and the most amazing focaccia we’ve ever seen (or tasted)!
Well done to everyone involved – bellissimo!
