More Best Teacher 2024.25 Student Nominations

I would like to once again thank the 310 students who took the time to send in a nomination for their ‘best teacher’ from 2024.25 at the end of the last academic year. All staff received a nomination and found it uplifting to read the wonderfully encouraging citations. Here are a few more of them for you to read:

Congratulations Mr Cox!

He makes learning very fun, and he teaches very well. Year 9 Student

Congratulations Miss Bragoli!

She makes dance fun and helps me feel confident. She’s really kind and encourages me to do my best. I always look forward to her class every week. Year 8 Student

Congratulations Mrs Greenwood!
Because she is always there if you need her and she looks out for everybody, even if you aren’t the perfect model student, as long as you show her respect, she will show it back and she will always make time for you. Year 12 Student

Congratulations Mr Knowles!
Because you take your time and don’t put pressure on students and as well as being a good teacher that supplies information you’re also someone reliable who students can trust to talk to. Year 8 Student

Congratulations Mrs Hoskins!
She is funny and a great teacher to talk to. She gives me really, really good when giving me feedback for my art and provides me with good ideas and the help I need when I do need help; she makes the lessons fun so everyone in her class enjoys the lesson while being productive. Year 10 Student

Congratulations Mr Murray!
He was able to make the lessons interactive and he cares about his students’ results. He definitely made students enjoy learning geography. Year 11 Student

Congratulations Miss Uddin!
She listens to my concerns and, instead of dismissing my statements, she takes them into account and tries to correct any issues. Year 7 Student

Congratulations Miss Lloyd!
She has been very kind, caring and helpful. She supports me when I need it. Year 7 Student

Congratulations Mr Wood!
Because he made me understand a variety of topics in maths very easily and comfortably which makes my learning more fun. He teaches different topics step by step to make sure I understand and know how to do this. Year 10 Student

Congratulations Mr Wilmott!
He has supported me in various ways and has always given me hope to keep on going and try my best. Year 11 Student

Congratulations Ms Osman!
Very kind, understanding and you have helped me so much during my exams. Year 11 Student

Congratulations Miss Sumpter!
Very kind, understanding and you have helped me so much during my exams. Year 11 Student

Congratulations Ms McNaughton!

She’s helped me a lot. Year 9 Student

Congratulations Miss Joannou!
She’s really nice (so is every other teacher) but I really like her and her lessons – she’s really funny and overall fun to have as my dance teacher. I like her a lot because of how she treats students. Her lessons are really nice and always well prepared, especially when we play games in dance after our assessments sometimes. Year 8 Student
