I would like to once again thank the 310 students who took the time to send in a nomination for their ‘best teacher’ from 2024.25 at the end of the last academic year. All staff received a nomination and found it uplifting to read the wonderfully encouraging citations. Here are a few more of them for you to read:

She is very supportive and makes her lessons fun but educational at the same time. Year 8 Student

She is super kind and caring. She is such a great influence and always makes me smile. She makes lessons fun but is also teaching us at the same time. I look forward to art lessons every week because I have such an amazing teacher. She explains everything we need to learn very clearly. She is so nice about everything, even when our class is misbehaving she always controls our class. She makes a very positive impact on our class and I’m so grateful to have such an amazing teacher. Year 8 Student

She has helped me a lot throughout year 12 and she has been only continuously supportive of me after teaching me throughout my downs and up and always tells me she’s proud of me when she sees me trying, which also drives me to do better for myself. Year 12 Student
