Literacy is Key!

We are extremely fortunate to have Lead Practitioner for English and Whole School Literacy Ms Bowe overseeing our excellent literacy and reading programmes at BMS which underpin achievements for all across our diverse curriculum. On Monday morning, for our Monday Magic Moment, she explained to all staff about some of the key initiatives to secure excellent progress in this area, including our Drop Everything and Read (DEAR) Moments, our Word of the Week and our Friday morning Reading programme – just a few of the embedded and powerful strategies to enable all students to achieve their true potential at BMS.
