Join Our Growing Alternative Curriculum Team!

As our school continues to expand its successful Alternative Curriculum provision, we are excited to offer a unique opportunity for parents and carers to get involved. We know that within our community there is a wealth of talent, practical skill and life experience — and we would love to bring that into our classrooms.

We are looking for enthusiastic, dynamic individuals who can help inspire students who sometimes find the mainstream curriculum challenging. If you’ve ever considered working in a school environment, this could be the perfect place to start.

Do you have knowledge or experience in any of the following areas?

  • Hair and Beauty
  • Outdoor Education / Forest School
  • Construction or Trades
  • Any practical skill that could engage and motivate young people

If so, we would love to hear from you!

Our goal is to provide meaningful, hands-on learning experiences that spark curiosity, build confidence, and open doors for students who thrive in alternative settings. We are looking for people who can build positive, aspirational relationships and who are passionate about helping young people succeed.

What we can offer:

  • Flexible working hours
  • Supportive training and induction
  • The chance to make a real difference in students’ lives
  • A welcoming, collaborative team

Whether you’re looking for part-time work, considering a new career path, or simply want to use your skills to support our school community, this could be a fantastic opportunity.

If you are interested or would like to find out more, please contact Tracy Greenwood, greenwoodt@busheymeads.org.uk

Let’s work together to broaden our students’ horizons and help them discover their strengths.
