International Visitors to BMS
It was a privilege to welcome visitors to Bushey Meads School last Friday from Italy, Spain, Belgium, Holland, England and even the United States of America. With the late George Michael’s 60th birthday being remembered on Sunday, the visitors really appreciated the opportunity to visit our school where George Michael first met Andrew Ridgeley and the band Wham! was formed.
They visited the classroom where George and Andrew first met, spent time in our Sixth Form Centre, enjoyed a presentation in the Main Hall, had a photo opportunity in front of our commemorative English Heritage Blue Plaque outside the Music Department and appreciated some stunning performances from some of our talented current students.
They really appreciated the welcome and commented very positively about the lovely atmosphere across the the school site and the outstanding students they met.
