Exciting News from Little Gems

As part of our ongoing drive to support the wellbeing of staff and aid recruitment and retention to Bushey Meads School and the Bushey St James Trust in September 2018 we opened up a dedicated day care nursery, Little Gems. The nursery was for children of staff and offered heavily subsidised childcare to those who accessed the provision. Originally inspired by our very own Assistant Pastoral Manager Ms Smart (whose daughter has thoroughly enjoyed the provision in recent times) it was lovely to receive a card containing some lovely pictures of the staff in the Nursery that her daughter had drawn. The colourful pictures were of Toni the Nursery Manager and Barbara and Jenny two of the Nursery staff.

Mrs Smart commented on how amazing the nursery staff are and what an incredible benefit it has been for staff across the Trust. She stated that her daughter had really blossomed at Little Gems and will miss it lots as she moves on to her new school provision next year.
