Year 8 Parent Forum

A huge thank you to the parents who joined us this week for our Year 8 Parent Forum. These informal meetings are invaluable for discussing school life and shaping improvements together.

Actions from our last meeting include launching the Year 8 Google Classrooms, carrying out the recent student enjoyment surveys and arranging a Year 8 Revision Skills day on 30 April.

This week’s conversation covered:

  • The use of Google Classroom summary reports.
  • Reviewing the impact of R and C points.
  • The More Able Programme.
  • Addressing last week’s challenging news and supporting our students through

If you’re a Year 8 parent and would like to join this group, please contact Ms de Groot.

Reminder: We are running parent meetings for all year groups throughout the day on 4 February. Keep an eye out for further details.
