Year 10 Into 11 Personal Guidance Meetings

As you are probably all aware, we work closely with YC Hertfordshire and regularly have one of their advisers in school supporting students with emotional issues and offering career advice and guidance.

In order to support our students to make a successful transition at the end of Year 11, all students will be offered a personal guidance meeting with either Heidi Snowdon (YC Hertfordshire Adviser) or Diana McIldowie, Head of Work Related Learning at Bushey Meads.

These meetings started with Year 10 students this week and will continue into the Autumn term.  Sixth Forms and Colleges start holding open evenings from September and we felt it would be to the students’ advantage to have had a meeting before these events.

Any students who require another meeting at the end of Year 11 will, of course, be able to request one.

Heidi Snowdon – YC Hertfordshire Adviser
