Domestic Violence Awareness assembly

At Bushey Meads Sixth form, we understand that Education reaches far beyond the classroom. Increasing student understanding is a key part of preparing them for adulthood and that it why members of the Hertfordshire constabulary recently gave us a thought-provoking talk on the serious topic of Domestic Violence awareness.  Students were engaged in a topic and this sparked real open conversation on what can often be a difficult subject. We are grateful to Hertfordshire Constabulary for supporting our students in developing the knowledge and confidence to recognise and respond to such important safeguarding matters.
