As Mrs Waring was supervising us on Wednesday we had an Art day. She had seen a video online of someone doing it (link at bottom) and it reminded her of the brilliant online spirograph tools Mr Kasza sent out. We painted a few canvases by swinging paint pots off of trees with some string, we used colours such as pink and white with a base of black or blue.
All of us did this because we thought it would be a fun activity to try and attempt, all of the materials that were used were going to be thrown away so we made use of them. It turned out to be a bit messy and the majority of us got covered in paint. It was really fun and a few came out really cool and strange at the same time.
We thought the paintings turned out really interesting because we weren’t sure how they would turn out and it was interesting seeing how the paint pots moved and spun in different ways. They did not exactly turn out like the video Mrs Waring saw but the marbling effect was a happy accident and looked amazing.
This activity was a very fun idea and we all enjoyed it.
