Bushey St James Trust Annual Conference
On Monday of this week it was great to hear from Associate Leader Mr Obamakin about our upcoming Trust wide Conference taking place on Monday 30th October, just after the half term holiday. Involving the 250 staff across the three schools in our Multi Academy Trust, it is a significant day in the life of our Trust and links in to the ongoing continuing professional development programme based around three Teacher Toolkits taking place throughout the rest of the academic year. We are all looking forward to hearing from keynote speaker Sue Cowley, a bestselling education author and internationally renowned presenter and teacher trainer. Sue has experience of teaching in early years, primary and secondary settings and her bestselling books including How to Survive Your First Year in Teaching are longstanding teacher favourites.

Her presentation will be followed by over 15 workshops led by expert practitioners from across the BSJT which all staff can sign up for. It should be a great day in the life of our school and one that continues to enable the teaching and learning culture and our classroom pedagogy to be further strengthened for the benefit of all students in our care.
