Teachers at Bushey Meads certainly go the extra mile for the students in their care – way beyond many schools in the local area and indeed the region. We have always offered very focussed and targeted revision sessions during holiday times in the spring and summer terms which have proved hugely popular and very successful in supporting our hard working Year 11 and 13 cohorts in preparation for their GCSE and A level examinations. This term however a number of key teachers within the core faculties of English, Maths and Science have offered that opportunity during the October half term last week. The students who attended (on most days there were as many as 75 students accessing the classes) were very grateful and spoke very highly of the valuable sessions, seeing them as a key part of preparing thoroughly for their forthcoming Pre Public Examinations or PPEs in December. I would like to thank all the teachers who gave up their holidays to support the students in this way and congratulate all the Year 11 and 13 students for taking their revision so seriously; we wish you well for every success in your PPEs.
