Did you know that French is the second most studied language in the world, with some 125 million students and 900,000 teachers of French abroad? It is shared by 270 million people worldwide and is the fifth most spoken language on the planet. Along with English, it is the only language spoken on all five continents.
This week, in MFL, we celebrated French language and Francophonie week (17th-25th March) with quizzes, student presentations and a virtual tour of Francophone countries.
