Congratulations to all our Bushey Meads School students who have achieved 100% attendance so far, this academic year. 273 students across all key stages have not missed a single day of their education since September 2024.
We are also proud to see 679 students have achieved an attendance rate of 95 – 99%.
Being in school is important to your child’s achievement, wellbeing, and wider development. Evidence shows that the student with the highest attendance throughout their time in school gains the best GCSE and A Level results.
To highlight the importance of regular attendance at school, the Government made changes to the Fixed Penalty Notice for parents in August 2024. Please see the “Helping Parents understand Penalty Notice Fines for School Attendance” document, which details how many days of unauthorised absences can lead to a fine, and how much the fine amount will be.
