Every year the Anti-bullying Ambassadors raise funds to donate to worthy causes. This year they decided to contribute to Mrs Hughes’ fundraising campaign.
Mrs Hughes was delighted to receive a cheque for £93.00, that will go towards her current fundraiser, Billyfest, which is an event to raise awareness and funds for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust.
Cystic fibrosis is an inherited condition that causes sticky mucus to build up in the lungs and digestive system. This causes lung infections and a wide range of challenging symptoms affecting the entire body. There’s currently no cure for cystic fibrosis, but a number of treatments are available to help control the symptoms, prevent complications, and make the condition easier to live with.
The Anti-bullying Ambassadors are always busy creating new projects to help students at BMS. A new initiative is about to go live very soon. Watch out for Post a Note !!!
