We are thrilled to announce that Sarah Doran has started this week in the role of Assistant Pastoral Manager at Bushey Meads School. Already a valued member of our SEND team, Mrs Doran has consistently demonstrated outstanding dedication and commitment to supporting some of our vulnerable students over the last 4 years. She has a deep understanding of our students’ diverse needs, as well as excellent communication skills.
In her new role, Mrs Doran will develop her expertise and passion for helping every student succeed, and as our 5th Pastoral Manager, will add capacity to our Pastoral team. This will enable us to have a dedicated Assistant Pastoral Manager for each year group moving forwards, with Mrs Doran working on Year 6/7 transition this term and supporting the new Year 7s in September. This appointment is part of our ongoing efforts to enhance student support, with a specific focus on improving behaviour and attendance across the school.
