A month of reflection: parent’s evening,...

The month of February is also a time of reflection and self improvement as our annual parents evening was held for all year groups. Teachers were given the opportunity to consult parents about any concerns or worries for pupils and we hope that it was a positive experience for all. If parents or guardians have any questions regarding their child’s achievement in school, please feel free to email for further feedback or information. As a school, we’d like to thank all the teachers and parents for helping to make the evening a success and apologies for any technical issues that may have occurred.

We have also resumed the reading schemes put in by the faculty and we have had an excellent start. This has been a great learning experience for the younger years and has additionally become a successful opportunity for the relationships between younger years and the sixth formers who help out.We hope this continues on and that we can build our school community even further. This has helped younger students to reflect on their reading skills, which is supported by prefects.

Last week commenced the opportunity to donate to our school’s annual food bank drive for families in need. Students donated a range of products, from canned goods to sanitary products, this is where we donated to our local food bank in Bushey, The Red Trust, showing how students had a ‘mind to be kind’ to do events like these! For these acts of kindness, students who have willingly donated receive reward points of R2s.
