Last Thursday saw a wonderful display of community spirit and festive cheer at the Year 7 Christmas Lunch. Our students, decked out in a dazzling array of Christmas jumpers, gathered in their House Groups to share a festive meal and celebrate the end of a fantastic term.
The atmosphere in the hall was truly buzzing—a perfect mix of excited chatter, laughter, and the clinking of cutlery. It was heartwarming to see the students sitting together, sharing stories, and enjoying the festive food alongside their Character Development Coaches.
This event was a perfect embodiment of our core school values: Relationships, Respect and Mind to be Kind.

It was a truly special occasion that highlighted the strong positive relationships between students and their CDC’s, and among the students themselves. Events like the Christmas Lunch are vital in developing the character and social skills of our young people, reminding them of the joy that comes from coming together and upholding our shared values.
A huge thank you to all the staff involved in making this such a memorable and joyous occasion for our Year 7s.
