Top Lead Practitioner for English and Whole School Literacy Ms Bowe reminded all staff in our Monday Magic Moment at the start of the week to build in a focus on literacy when marking students’ work and providing feedback to secure good progress. She suggested to all staff to refer regularly to our ‘Golden Glossary Walls’ in every classroom to increase the power of oracy and written communication and then to recognise this in our verbal or written feedback. It made for a great start to Week 2 of our Autumn Term Marking and Feedback Fortnight and reinforced the strong culture of pedagogy that exists at our wonderful school.
