Excellent attendance and punctuality is vital to ensuring outstanding progress. Every year we find there is a direct link between students who attend most often and their exam results. Students who come to school every day do much better than those who miss days or arrive late and are more likely to develop positive relationships with their teachers and peers. At Bushey Meads School we value the dedication and commitment of our students to their education. For this reason, I would personally like to recognise and celebrate the outstanding effort and commitment 120 of our students (10% of our school) have made to their education so far this year. All of these students have managed to achieve a 100% exemplary attendance record. I would also like to extend my sincere gratitude to you as parents and carers for supporting your child to attain 100% attendance at school. The challenge is now to keep this up into 2024.
