This week in Miss Visan’s Year 9 Mathematics lesson, students ended their session on a high note with an exciting and interactive maths challenge. After working through key concepts during the lesson, students spent the final part of the class applying their knowledge through a series of stimulating maths games designed to stretch their thinking and promote collaborative problem-solving.
The classroom buzzed with energy as students eagerly tackled challenging questions, demonstrating not only their growing confidence in mathematical reasoning but also their enthusiasm for learning.
We were also delighted to welcome our Head Teacher, Mr Turner, who joined the class during the activity. His presence sparked an extra layer of motivation, and the students rose to the occasion, proudly showcasing their knowledge and teamwork.
Miss Visan praised the class for their positive attitude and strong engagement:
“It was fantastic to see such enthusiasm for mathematics. The students embraced every challenge and showed real maturity in their collaboration and problem-solving skills. A wonderful way to end the lesson!”
Well done to Year 9 for a great display of learning, resilience, and teamwork!
