Year 12 Settling In Evening
Our Year 12 students have settled so well into Sixth Form life and all of the new to school students have felt very welcomed by all BMS students and staff. This made for a very positive Year 12 Settling In Evening held on Tuesday evening this week and it was great to see so many students and parents and carers there in the Main Hall.
A warm welcome was provided with refreshments and then two very impactful presentations were given by Assistant Headteacher Miss Silla and Deputy Head of Sixth Form Miss Goldstone. They covered loads of crucial information about the importance of excellent attendance and having a high attitude to learning, working well independently, as well as outlining all the amazing opportunities to step up into position of responsibility, take part in the Kindness Matters initiative, enjoy the  enrichment afternoon and excel on the EPQ programme.
Miss Goldstone explained to parents and carers about all the support put in place to ensure every student’s success including the very powerful Elevate to Excel programme.
We would like to wish all our amazing Sixth Formers every success over the next year as they continue to Aspire to Achieve and reach their exciting goals which lead on to their all-important next steps beyond Bushey Meads School.
It was a very positive evening and very well led by our Sixth Form Team.
