Year 11 IT Students Celebrate Coursework...

Our Year 11 IT students have made an outstanding start to the year, celebrating fantastic results in their most recent coursework submission.
Last summer term, the students worked exceptionally hard on the Augmented Reality unit, a highly technical and creative project that pushed them to develop both their practical and technical skills.
As part of this unit, students learned about the principles of AR development, including QR code integration, interactive user interfaces, object tracking and user experience design. They then applied their knowledge to a live client brief, where they were tasked with designing and creating an AR quiz app for a company that develops online quizzes for global audiences.
The results were fantastic. 95% of the cohort achieved a Level 2 Distinction*, the highest possible grade, which is the equivalent of a Grade 9 at GCSE!
Looking ahead, our Year 11 IT students are now preparing for their public exam in January, the R050 IT in the Digital World. They are eager to replicate their success and continue building on this brilliant momentum.

I could not be prouder of my Year 11 IT students. They have worked diligently and with real enthusiasm, producing outstanding results that mark a brilliant start to the school year.

Well done, Year 11!
