Our parents and carers play such an important part in supporting a school; even if they don’t always agree with everything that happens and takes place, it’s that common desire to create that collective synergy and momentum that enables all students to achieve, even beyond their potential.
Whilst we want to thank all parents and carers for their ongoing support and for everything they do beyond the school gates to inculcate that growth mindset and excellent attitude to learning in their children who we get the privilege to teach each and every day, it is also nice to hear their thanks for the incredible staff of the school. This one recent email speaks volumes…….
Good Morning All,
Please can you pass this on to all staff at Bushey Meads. We wanted to say a huge thank you to all. You guys have done a fantastic job this year. It has been a year that we will not forget.
Bushey Meads staff have always been professional, helpful and have always been there for our son when it has been needed most through this difficult time. While in isolation or lockdown my son always had lots of work or activities to keep him busy. Teachers were always available online to answer any questions and always responded quickly.
I myself work in a school so I know how challenging this year has been. Adults and children’s Mental health has suffered a great deal and, without the care of each other and the fantastic pastoral support of your school, my son would have most definitely struggled.
Bushey Meads is indeed a very caring, supportive special place and we are very proud for our son to be a part of the special family.
So to all the Teachers, Learning Assistants, Associate Staff, Cleaners, Kitchen staff and everyone else.
Myself and my family wish you all a very peaceful and safe Christmas. And once again a massive THANKS :))))
