Watford Careers and Enterprise SEND...
It was an amazing experience to attend the
Watford Careers and Enterprise SEND networking event at Watford FC stadium.
We learnt about the different programmes available through the Watford Community Trust and partners to enrich the curriculum within school.
The highlight of the event was listening to Lee Keogh talking about his role as a disability activist. Lee attended Bushey Meads School from 2012 – 2017 and it was amazing to see him as an alumni in the real world!
Lee is a real inspiration and was recently voted as number 7 in the Shaw Trust Power 100. Lee is keen to visit Bushey Meads in the near future to see the changes, visit some of his teachers and give some motivational talks to students. We really look forward to hosting Lee at Bushey Meads in the near future.
