Advanced Lead Teacher Mr Harris led the Monday Magic Moment at the start of the week and gave all staff an excellent and practical strategy to support engagement in learning.
He reminded staff that their presence and proximity in the classroom can really support learning. Depending on where you stand in the classroom can help students stay on task, can monitor their progress and even walking around the class with a green pen in hand can enable you to complete live marking – providing instant feedback to students on their work and giving key pointers and targets to further improve their learning.
Mr Harris is a member of our outstanding Teaching and Learning Team and (along with every member of that team) is on hand to help and support staff with their teaching and pedagogy across all curriculum areas.
