DISTRICT CROSS-COUNTRY CHAMPIONSHIPS.
On Wednesday this week the annual Watford District Cross-Country Championships took place at Royal Masonic School in Rickmansworth. This year the event was brought in line with the County Championshiops with some age groups combined to providence more competitive races. The Championships is one of the biggest sporting events held in the year and involve around 500 students from local schools across all age groups from Years 7-13. A big well done to all the BMS competitors who showed great effort and enthusiasm in very competitive races.

Comment : The year 9 boys rugby team showed a much improved performance in the Developing Schools festival held on the pitch at the Stone X Stadium, home of Saracens RFC. The games were part of the Saracens programme to develop rugby in local secondary schools. The boys played out 2 fiercely contested draws with E Silver scoring 4 tries and J Zulberg putting in an excellent defensive performance. All the boys worked extremely hard and can look forward to further developing their skills in future weeks.
